Lentil and Onion Dhal

  • - 2 tbsp of vegetable oil
  • - 1 red onion(s), peeled and sliced
  • - 2 garlic clove(s), peeledand chopped
  • - 2 tsp of Indian spice mix
  • - 1 tsp of turmeric
  • - 500 g of canned cooked lentils rinsed under water
  • - 80 g of crushed, peeled tomatoes (fresh or canned)
  • - 130 ml of coconut milk
  • - 1 lime(s), cut into quarters
  • - 2 sprigs of coriander, leaves washed and removed
  • Instructions
    Just follow the step-by-step, too easy!

    Prepare the ingredients.


    Pour the oil into the pan.


    Add the spices and cook for 30 sec.Add the onion and the garlic. Cook for 1 min.


    Add the remaining ingredients, except the coriander leaves and the lime.


    Cooking time: 3 minutes


    Garnish with coriander leaves.Serve with lime wedges.
